Since our founding in 1993, DONGHWA IND has grown alongside Korea's LED industry. Semiconductor leadframes, LED chips and packages, optical lenses, UV sterilisation — we deliver integrated solutions across the photonics, optics, and electronic components stack.
In 2021 we transitioned into a corporation and became the official Korean distributor for DOWA Electronics (Japan), as well as a partner to RUNLITE (China) supplying key components to domestic LED manufacturers. From 2024 we began producing UV LED water sterilisers, and in 2025 we launched domestic supply of DOWA SWIR LEDs and GaAs wafers — leading Korea into the next era of photonics and semiconductor materials.
